At this time, Nazareth Stables only offers full-care board. We strongly believe that our horses do best on ample turnout, and we have built our care structure around that model with horses being kept outdoors as much as possible.

Amenities

• Private, gated facility with lights, electricity, water
• 7-stall barn that ensures a low-key, private atmosphere
• 12x12 rubber matted stalls; fans and heated buckets provided as needed seasonally
• 20 acres of open fields available for riding and conditioning
• Approx. 100x160 outdoor sand arena; some jumps provided
• Grass jumping area with basic cross-country jumps (coming soon)
• Small herd size in maintained paddocks
• Automatic waterers in 2 of 3 turnouts
• Grass sqaure bales while stalled; grass round bales provided outdoors in fall and winter months
• Outside trainers welcome with current proof of insurance
• Owners live on-site

Included Services

• Feeding: Horses brought in and fed in stalls 2x day to ensure proper rations are received.  Free choice round bales provided in paddocks as needed in the winter months
• Supplements fed up to 2x/day (more than 2 individual supplements must be prepared in Smartpaks or otherwise pre-measured and prepared/packaged by owner)
• Medications up to 2x/day as needed and provided by owner
• Stalling: Full use of personal stall. Stalls are cleaned daily; bedding included in fee. Deep bedding (more than light coverage) can be provided for additional fee. Horses are kept indoors during the day in summer months (June-September) with fans, water, and hay and are turned out at night. During winter months (October-May), horses are only kept in overnight during poor weather such as precipitation events and high mud days. Winter stalling includes free choice hay (netted); fresh water; heated buckets as needed.
• Farrier/Vet holding included if using Nazareth Stables farrier/vet on regularly scheduled visits
• Owner’s choice farrier/vet: Horses can be brought in for owners for farrier, vet visits with 24hr notice (depending on staff availability); holding not included
• Stall rest included for no extra fees up to two weeks; after two weeks, an additional daily fee of $6/day will be assessed. Stall cleaning 1x/day included for horses on stall rest
• First aid: Assistance with medical treatment by request when owner is unavailable. Daily first aid administration for more than one week will be assessed at an additional daily fee; owner responsible for all costs of materials and supplies
• Blanket changes/fly masks/fly spray application (owner provides materials) up to 2x/day
